36 conservation areas
Liverpool has 36 conservation areas, covering 9% of the city and protecting 19,000 properties. They include Lark Lane, Rodney Street, Sefton Park, Woolton Village, Wavertree Garden Suburb, Duke Street and Princes Road.
Article 4 directions cover most of the city's conservation areas and bring windows, doors and roof coverings on houses under planning control. In Kensington Fields, Knotty Ash, Toxteth Park and the Avenues they apply only to elevations that front a highway.
The contractor does the scaffold or hoarding application, and the council needs a minimum of 7 days to process it, and up to 14 days minimum for main roads and the city centre. Skip permits are applied for by registered skip operators, at least two working days before the skip is needed.

Will I show up for my part of Liverpool, not only for "Liverpool"?
"Liverpool" on its own is the hardest search in the city to win and the least likely to bring a customer from down the road. A search for your district is where a small business is found, so the site names the districts you serve, from Crosby to Woolton, and your Google listing covers the same ground.
