Process
Segunda Vida uses post-consumer PET plastic flakes, which have been collected, sorted and washed by our suppliers.
Color, intrinsic viscosity and density are analyzed by Quality control to meet customer requirements.
The plastic flakes are processed under vacuum to decrease their external moisture and flushed with nitrogen to reduce their residual oxygen content.
The state-of-the-art extrusion technology, along with revolutionary solid state poly-condensation, ensure an output of high quality pellets of recycled plastic.
