August 2026 A new hygienist joins the practice Priya Shah joins Maria in the hygiene chair from September, which means more appointments each week.
From the first week of September, Priya Shah joins the practice as our second hygienist, alongside Maria Oliveira. Priya trained in Manchester and has worked in NHS and private practice for six years. It means more hygiene appointments available each week, particularly first thing in the morning, which has been our tightest slot for a while. Existing patients can carry on booking with whoever they have seen before, or choose "no preference" and take the first appointment going.
July 2026 Saturday hours, extended for a trial We are trialling a longer Saturday morning, 9am to 1pm, to see whether it is worth keeping.
For the next three months we are opening from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays, rather than closing at midday, on a trial basis. It came out of feedback from patients who work weekdays and struggled to get an appointment without taking time off. If it is well used, we will keep it. If not, we will say so here rather than quietly dropping it.
June 2026 A new whitening treatment Custom trays made from your own impressions, with two weeks of gel to use at home.
We have introduced a new take-home whitening service. It starts with an impression appointment, from which we make trays that fit your teeth exactly, along with two weeks of professional-strength gel to use at home each evening. Most people see a noticeable difference within a week. It is on the treatments list on this site with the current price, and the receptionist can talk you through it at your next check-up.
May 2026 Closed for staff training, 18 September The whole team is out on a training day. No appointments that day; the diary reopens as normal the next morning.
The practice will be closed all day on Thursday 18 September for a staff training day, covering updated sterilisation procedures and a refresher in medical emergencies. There will be no appointments of any kind that day, including emergencies, so anyone with something urgent close to that date should call ahead. The online diary will simply show no slots for the 18th; it is not a fault.
April 2026 A reminder about online booking The same diary the front desk uses is open to you directly, any hour of the day.
A few patients have mentioned they did not realise appointments could be booked online. The booking tool on this site uses the exact same diary as the front desk, so what you book here is booked, with no need to call during opening hours to check. It takes most people under a minute. The phone lines are still open for anything the diary cannot answer.
