Built from the ground up
Burgers on the ground floor of an old print works in Leeds. Six layers, and we can tell you where every one of them came from.
Nothing to hide
Where it comes from
Six layers, four suppliers, and every one of them in Yorkshire.
60 miles is the furthest any layer of the burger travels to reach the grill.

Minced here
The beef comes in as whole cuts from one farm in Nidderdale, on Tuesdays and Fridays. We mince it every morning and press each patty when it is ordered, never before.
-
Baked next door
The brioche comes from a bakery two streets away, still warm at half past seven. Whatever is left at closing goes to the night shelter round the corner.

Cooked to order
Nothing waits under a lamp. Your burger goes on the grill when you order it and reaches the counter seven minutes later.
It is the only burger in Leeds that tells you which farm it came from. My dad reads the board now before he orders, like it is a wine list.
I order to collect on my lunch break and it is on the counter as I walk in. The dripping chips are why I stopped bringing sandwiches.
Order to collect
Order ahead, and it comes off the grill as you walk in.
Choose a time and we start your order seven minutes before it. Pay at the counter when you collect. There is no app to download and no account to make.
- 7 min on the grill, timed to when you arrive
- 15 min the soonest you can collect, from ordering
